18.08.10: Congratulation to the following lifters: Mariya Chepil UKR, setting new Masters 1 world record with 120Kg, Korkia-Aho Tuomas FIN, new world junior record 342.5Kg and Ilka Schwengl AUT new European Master 1 record 107.5Kg.  

18.08.10: The European Open Bench Press receive media coverage from the large media corporations TASR and SITA, they were also coverage from Slovak TV.  Czech TV did interview with several Czech lifters.

15.08.10: Tuomas Korkia-aho from Finland became the best male lifter by points at the European Open Bench Press Championships. He made 342,5 kg and 187,2 points in +125 kg category for a new junior World record. 159 lifters took part in the Championships in Bratislava 12-14 August. 14.08.10: Justyna Kozdryk from Poland became the best lifter by points at the European Open Bench Press Championships in Bratislava. She made 120 kg in the 48 kg category for 171,3 points. Sandra Lonn from Sweden was second by points. Stafan Jamroz from Sweden is in the lead by points in the Men's competition before the final day today (Saturday).

21.07.10: The organizer of 16th European Open Bench Press Championships would like to inform the participants that after the last negotiations with management of City Hotel Bratislava the prices of accommodation are: single room 65 EUR/night including breakfast, double room 40 EUR/person/ night including breakfast, triple room 35 EUR/person/ night including breakfast; category of rooms: Business.

14.07.10: The Slovak Bodybuilding, Fitness & Powerlifting Association would like to inform participants of 16th European Bench Press Championships that from 15 June the organizer is able to arrange the accomodation for participants in the City Hotel Bratislava only. Hotel Dom sportu is engaged.

23.06.10: The European Masters Powerlifting Championships are taking place from 22^nd to 26^th June 2010 in Pilsen/Czech Republic. The first results are online yet. 12.06.10: To day was the final day of the European Juniors. Winner in 125 kg cagtegory was Damir Trokic from Sweden with 910 kg and the +125kg category was won by Volodymyr Svistunov from Ukraine with 1030 kg. New Junior World record in Benchpress were broken by Tuomas Korkia-Aho from Finland with 330 kg in +125 kg category.
Best lifters by points in the European Junior Championships were Yulya Lukinova from Russia and Vadym Dovganyuk from Ukraine.

11.06.10: The European Juniors are running well in Norway. Winner of today 100 kg was Dmitry Popov from Russia with 915 kg in total. Vadym Dovganyuk from Ukraine won the 110 kg with 969,5 kg in total and is in lead by 582,96 points. He also made a new Open World Benchpress record with 292 kg.

10.06.10: As began while the European Open Powerlifting Championships in Köping, the EPF presents the daily updated results of the European Junior Powerlifting Championships in Hamar here on this website in the menue "results". This service and the lifestream (graphic in the right column of website) were used by 1.296 different users yesterday.

09.06.10: On the second day (09.06.10) of the European Junior Championships, Women 56 and 60 plus Men 75 and 82,5 kg competed. Highest Wilks score in the championships until now are made by Yulya Lukina from Russia (60 kg) with 567 points and Maxim Sharikov from Russia (75 kg) with 565 points.
